The City of Philadelphia, Philadelphia International Airport, is requesting proposals for on call security and special systems engineering and consulting services. The Greenbrier Valley Airport Authority (GVAA) seeks statements of qualifications from aviation consulting firms to provide professional planning services for an airport master plan and airport layout plan update; focusing on forecasting, documenting and validating operational data at Greenbrier Valley Airport. The Port of Bellingham is requesting qualifications from interested firms for airport planning services for the master plan update and AGIS survey for Bellingham International Airport. This planning study will be funded in large part by FAA with the Port of Bellingham funding the local share. The port will submit an AIP entitlement grant application to FAA with an independently verified total project scope and budget consistent with a successfully negotiated consulting contract. The study is scheduled to commence after grant award, in July 2016. The port needs to have the consultant selection completed and a scope, fee and contract negotiated by June to meet the grant application submittal schedule. The Port of Seattle is issuing a request for proposals to all associations and third-party management firms interested in management and operation of on-demand taxicab and for-hire vehicles at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (RFP 2016-ABD-1). The port will enter into a concession agreement with the selected proposer for a term of three years with two one-year options, at the port’s sole election, to extend the agreement. Operations under the concession are expected to begin July 1, 2016. The Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) is seeking proposals from qualified Perimeter Intrusion Detection System (PIDS) providers for the purpose of implementing and maintaining a PIDS solution as described in the Request for Proposals (RFP) to enhance the security posture of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and to assist the LAWA Airport Police Division (APD) in protecting the Airport perimeter.
