The Salt Lake City Department of Airports (SLCDA) would like to provide advance notice to bidders on current and future solicitations that on or around Nov. 1, 2016, SLCDA will discontinue its use of the Bidsync website. Respondents shall access solicitation materials in the future at http://www.slcpurchasing.com, as the formal portal for direction to bid notifications. Register with the new solicitation system, SciQuest, as soon as possible. The State of Utah has issued a public notice about the change at http://purchasing.utah.gov and includes a link to the new SciQuest registration page. The MBS International Airport Commission intends to select a consultant to assist in airport development projects. Interested consulting firms are requested to submit five copies of statement of qualifications to be no more than 25 pages and no later than Oct. 31, 2016. The SOQ should demonstrate the consultants’ interest in providing airport planning, architectural/engineering design, and construction administration services focused on the MBS Airport’s current Five-Year Airport Capital Improvement Plan (ACIP). The County of Santa Barbara, Calif., invites consultants to submit qualifications to provide planning, engineering and consulting services as part of the five-year Airport Capital Improvement Program (ACIP) for Santa Ynez Valley Airport. The county hereby notifies all responders that it will affirmatively ensure that small and minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that no firm will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, sex, or national origin. The first ACIP project’s purpose is to design the airfield safety grading around the runway and taxiways; the total project cost is approximately $920,000. Similar, future projects are anticipated as part of the five-year ACIP.
