The Southwest Chapter-AAAE held its Annual Conference and Exposition July 9-13 in Reno, Nev. The conference was hosted by AAAE First Vice Chair Krys Bart, A.A.E.
AAAE Chair Elaine Roberts, A.A.E., presented an update on legislation and regulatory issues affecting airports. New chapter officers elected at the meeting are Gary Rice, A.A.E., Santa Maria, Calif., president; Lynn Kusy, C.M., Mesa, Ariz., first vice president, and Barry Rondinella, A.A.E., Stockton, Calif., second vice president. Past President is Rod Dinger, C.M., Redding, Calif.
Social events at the conference included an evening at Lake Tahoe.
