United Airlines Wednesday announced plans to offer three new weekly flights between Washington (D.C.) Dulles and Kuwait City. Pending foreign government approval, United said it will begin service in late October 2006, and will be the only U.S. airline to offer nonstop service between the United States and Kuwait. The service will operate Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday out of Dulles, and out of Kuwait City Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
United said it plans to operate combined passenger and cargo service between the United States and Kuwait using a Boeing-777 aircraft.
