Delta Adds Service To Ski Destinations

top story photo Delta Air Lines this winter will offer new and expanded service to and from 11 ski destinations throughout the western United States and Canada. Delta's newest ski destination of Telluride Colo., will be served daily between Montrose/Telluride and Salt Lake City, and on Saturdays between Montrose/Telluride and Atlanta. Additionally, Delta will add daily nonstop service between Atlanta and Steamboat Springs, Colo. Delta also will expand service between Salt Lake City and Aspen, Colo., and between Atlanta and Bozeman, Mont.; Jackson Hole, Wyo., and Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Delta's new service to Montrose/Telluride from Salt Lake City will be operated by Delta Connection carrier SkyWest using Bombardier regional jets. Saturday service from Atlanta will operate with an MD-88 aircraft. This new service complements the return of seasonal service between Cincinnati and Jackson Hole and Vail, Colo., and between Atlanta and Vail and Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Year-round service already operates between Salt Lake City and Aspen, Bozeman, Durango, Colo., Calgary, Jackson Hole, Reno/Lake Tahoe and Vancouver, and between Atlanta and Reno/Lake Tahoe.
