Aeromexico Boosts U.S. Presence

top story photo Aeromexico wasted little time in taking advantage of its country's improved safety rating from FAA, announcing several service enhancements.

Aeromexico said it will reestablish its 45 code share flights with its U.S. airline partner Delta Air Lines as of December 11. The airline will reinstate its 45 daily code share flights with Delta Air Lines.

The Mexican carrier also said that the addition of daily frequences to New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas will become permanet parts of its schedule.

Finally, Aeromexico will add two new daily frequencies to San Antonio.

FAA announced Dec. 1 that Mexico's civil aviation safety oversight qualified for a Category 1 rating, the highest possible.
