More than 100 attendees from nine countries participated in the July 18-20 Airports Conference of the Americas in Panama City, Panama.
In addition to visiting the sold-out trade show, attendees heard two days of business sessions on topics such as revenue development, safety and security, general aviation development and infrastructure financing. Keynote speaker was Copa Airline CEO Pedro Heilbron and, for the first time this year, participants listened to a roundtable of four airport CEOs from the U.S. and the Caribbean/Latin American region.
The meeting was cosponsored by AAAE, the International Association of Airport Executives, the South Central Chapter/AAAE and FAA and was hosted by the Civil Aviation Authority of Panama and Tocumen International Airport.
