AAAE Presents Leadership Award To Ben DeCosta

Chair John Duval, A.A.E., on Tuesday presented the association's Leadership Award to Ben DeCosta, A.A.E., general manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, in recognition of his many contributions to AAAE and to the airport management community over many years.

The Leadership Award recognizes exemplary service, Duval told delegates to the association's annual conference and exposition in Dallas/Fort Worth, explaining that "Ben is a respected leader with a long history of success in the airport management field. As general manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport since 1998, Ben has been key player in the airport's capital improvement program."

DeCosta is a member of the AAAE Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of the Airports Council International. He was chair of AAAE's National Airports Conference in 2009.
